Our Small Groups
Choir
The Choir plays a vital role in leading and enriching worship through music. With voices joined in praise, the choir offers anthems and musical selections that inspire, uplift, and help the congregation enter more deeply into worship. Open to all who love to sing, the choir fosters a spirit of fellowship, growth, and joyful service. Through their gifts, members of the choir help proclaim God’s word and glorify God, supporting the church’s worship life throughout the year.
Women’s Bible Study
All women are warmly invited to gather each Thursday at 10:00 AM for a time of fellowship, followed by Bible Study at 10:30 AM in the library. Come and be uplifted, connected, and renewed in faith together.
Thursday Night Bible Study
Join us each Thursday at 6:30 PM (except during the summer) in the Fellowship Hall for a Spirit-filled time of discussion and scriptural study. All are welcome to grow in faith, share in meaningful conversation, and be encouraged in community.
Nursing Home Bible Study
Each Wednesday morning, residents of a local skilled nursing facility gather for a meaningful time of Bible study, reflection, and prayer. Through Scripture and compassionate presence, they are renewed in spirit, nurtured in faith, and reminded of God’s abiding love.
Scouting America
DPC is pleased to host local Scouting America programs for both boys and girls, providing a welcoming space for youth to learn, grow, and serve. The Scouts meet weekly on DPC’s premises and participate in ongoing community service projects that develop leadership, character, responsibility, and a spirit of service.
Each year, DPC recognizes and celebrates the Scouts during a special Sunday worship service, honoring their accomplishments and contributions to the community. Through this partnership, DPC supports opportunities for young people to grow in faith, character, and service to others.
Journey Students
Journey Students meets each Wednesday evening from 6:30–8:30 PM in the Family Life Center, where middle and high school students connect with God, one another, and caring adult leaders. In this welcoming and engaging environment, students are known, valued, and encouraged as the unique individuals God created them to be.
Youth are encouraged to maintain their membership and participate fully in the life of Deltona Presbyterian Church (DPC), including Sunday worship alongside their families. For midweek engagement, DPC partners with Journey Students, a youth ministry of Journey Church, offering a meaningful opportunity for students to grow spiritually.
Journey Church is a separate, multi-site Baptist congregation that utilizes DPC’s adjacent Family Life Center. While we come from different Protestant traditions, Journey Church and DPC have shared in various service projects—cultivating a strong and respectful partnership. Together, we celebrate our relationship as brothers and sisters in Christ, united in faith and a mutual commitment to serving our community.
