Our Teams

Administration & Personnel Team

The Administration & Personnel Team serves as the church’s Human Resources ministry—providing care, support, and oversight for all church employees. The team develops and maintains personnel policies, supports healthy workplace practices, and manages office operations, including equipment and insurance needs. Through its work, the team helps ensure an organized, well-supported environment for effective ministry.

Buildings & Grounds / Security Team

The Buildings & Grounds/Security Team is dedicated to creating, maintaining, and preserving the dignity, safety, and functional readiness of the church property for use by its members and the wider community. The team cares for the memorial garden, facilities, and grounds—ensuring they remain welcoming and well-maintained. In addition, it oversees security measures, including monitoring systems and providing a safe environment during worship services and church activities. Through this work, the team supports a secure and hospitable space for ministry and fellowship.

Care & Missions Team

The Care & Missions Team extends Christ’s love through compassionate congregational care and active outreach. The team offers prayer, visitation, follow-up, care packages, and Home Communion to those who are bereaved, ill, homebound, hospitalized, or in rehabilitation. In addition, it promotes and supports a variety of local and global mission initiatives throughout the year—inviting the congregation to serve others with faith, compassion, and generosity.

Finance Team

The Finance Team provides faithful stewardship of the church’s financial resources through careful oversight, transparency, and accountability. The team prepares and reports monthly financial statements, manages payroll and accounts payable, and ensures that all bills and obligations are handled promptly and responsibly. It develops and presents the annual budget for Session approval, follows established financial policies and best practices, promotes the annual stewardship pledge campaign, and oversees the church’s reserves and long-term investments through Fidelity Investments, including the Cash Fund (money market mutual fund) and the Investment Fund (diversified portfolio balanced fund). Through its diligent work, the team helps foster trust and confidence—enabling the congregation to give generously in support of the church’s mission and ministry.

Planning Team

The Planning Team coordinates and supports the life of the congregation by organizing fellowship, educational opportunities, and worship activities throughout the liturgical year. Working in collaboration with church leaders and ministry teams, it helps shape meaningful gatherings, seasonal celebrations, and faith formation experiences. Through thoughtful planning and creativity, the team fosters a vibrant and connected community centered in worship, learning, and companionship.

Worship Technology Team

The Worship Technology Team supports the worship experience through sound, visual, and media excellence. The team manages the audio system, screen projection, and multimedia elements during services and special events—helping ensure that the Word, music, and liturgy are clearly seen and heard. Through their behind-the-scenes service, they help create a seamless and engaging environment for worship.

Digital Communications Team

The Digital Communications Team shares the life and message of the church both within the congregation and beyond. The team manages weekly eblasts, maintains the church’s website, and oversees social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. By sharing updates, photos, sermons, and ministry highlights, the team helps keep the congregation informed, connected, and engaged while extending the church’s witness and outreach through online media.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is an elected committee of the congregation responsible for prayerfully discerning and presenting candidates for church leadership. Each year, the committee nominates members to serve as ruling elders in their respective classes for congregational election, in accordance with the Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

The committee includes a Session representative and a majority of members elected by the congregation. As an independent committee of the congregation, it carries out its responsibilities with guidance from the Nominating Committee Manual and does not function under Session oversight. The pastor serves as an ex officio member with voice but without vote. Through prayerful discernment, the committee seeks to identify faithful leaders equipped to serve God and the church’s mission.
